Men’s Club Presents Adventures in Learning – Havdallah in Nature

Havdallah in Nature at Satwiwa/Rancho Sierra Vista
Led by Benny Sommerfeld and Mark Goldstein
The second event from our Adventures in Learning Series will feature a hike and beautiful Havdallah in Nature at Satwiwa/Ranch Sierra Vista in Thousand Oaks.
Join us for a mild hike along the Satwiwa Loop Trail which meanders through an area considered sacred by the Chumash. Keep an eye out for deer and coyote in the coastal sage scrub, hawks and falcons soaring overhead, and sweeping views of Boney Mountain and Sycamore Canyon. Once we hike to our destination, Benny Sommerfeld will lead us in Havdallah.
Directions: Lynn Rd South/West to Via Goleta. Take left on Via Goleta. Drive 3/4 mile and park in parking lot. Meet up location is at trail info sign adjacent to bathrooms at end of parking lot. Please RSVP for google maps link to meet up area.
Bring flashlight, water, and snacks. Wear walking or hiking shoes. We will hike the trail shown in blue on the map. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes warly. Sunset: 7:48 PM
