TEC Adult Education… classes designed with you in mind…
Temple Etz Chaim offers a wide array of learning opportunities and Adult Education programming that aims to enrich and expand your Jewish horizons and appeal to a wide range of learning styles, areas of interest and varied schedules. Below is an overview of ongoing classes.
Overview Classes:
- Tuesdays with Rabbi Spiegel – Tuesdays, from 10am-11am, currently on Zoom. Make Tuesday mornings your quality time. Join our Rabbi Emeritus, Rabbi Richard Spiegel, in weekly group study of traditional texts and discussion of their relevance to modern life. - TEC Book Club – The TEC Book Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7pm, as published. Since its inception in 2001, TEC Book Club is still going strong with avid readers and lively discussion. TEC Book Club is the place to be if your niche is reading and discussing some of the best-selling and best written books … primarily by Jewish authors or about Jewish themes. - Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning: Core and Graduate Classes- University level curriculum courses, with no homework, no tests and no prep, created especially for adult learners from all backgrounds by the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. TEC is proud to host CORE classes and graduates of the two-year CORE program, Melton Scholars Courses. Melton classes are open to the community!
