Conejo BBYO is Now Temple Etz Chaim BBYO!
TEC is now the exclusive home for the Conejo Valley chapter of BBYO. This new partnership brings an amazing opportunity, especially for our TEC member teens.
The Benefit for TEC Member Families:
If you are a member of TEC and your teen is enrolled in Confirmation (grades 8-12), they are eligible for a huge benefit: FREE BBYO Membership for their entire high school career!
Here’s how it works:
- Confirmation Enrollment = Eligibility: While enrolled in TEC’s Confirmation program, your teen is eligible for free BBYO membership.
- BBYO Elective: To take full advantage of this, your Confirmation student can select BBYO as their elective. They will then meet on Monday nights during Confirmation to participate in BBYO events right here on the TEC’s campus.
- No Additional Cost: This BBYO membership is provided to TEC member families at no extra cost!
Open to Non-Member Families:
Temple Etz Chaim BBYO is also open to the broader Jewish community. If you have a Jewish student in grades 8-12 who is not a TEC member, they are welcome to join our chapter and participate in the Monday night events.
Payment Note: Non-member families must coordinate payment for BBYO membership directly with BBYO.
Introducing Our Advisor:
We are excited to welcome Karen Garelik as our chapter’s Adult Advisor! Karen is a Religious School teacher at TEC and the Associate Director of Camp Alonim, bringing deep experience working with teens.
